SBA 504 Loan Program Overview:
The 504 Loan Program is primarily a long term fixed asset financing offering low down payment and fixed rates on the CDC/SBA portion of the loan. The borrower puts less money down which frees up working capital for the business. A total project can be up to $5-7 million under certain circumstances with a maximum CDC/SBA funding of $5.0 millon on the SBA portion.
Financing is with:
Þ 50% Lender participation
Þ 30-40% CDC/SBA and
Þ 10% minimum borrower participation
